“Cliff Walk and The Breakers - Newport, R.I.
Newport’s world famous Cliff Walk winds along the shore for two miles, passing between many fabulous mansions and the blue Atlantic. Most famous of these is The Breakers, built for Cornelius Vanderbilt in 1895. Since 1948, when it was opened to the public by the Preservation Society of Newport, it has become the state’s number one tourist attraction. Open April 1 to November.”
Way to be proactive.
