That’s me on the left there. I must have been about 4 or 5 years old. My first Gordie Howe hat trick happened in this game. Was visiting my uncles in Pawniesockett, Rhode Island (the town has since lost its incorporation on account of the town council getting in a fist fight over new pee wee zoning rules). I’d bet this is December, 1936 or 1937.
Not sure on the validity of this.
