Orlo Avenue Elementary School serves 292 students in grades K-5. It’s a small suburban school in East Providence, RI. Right now our students play on cracked asphalt. The outside of our school sends a message to our students that they should accept less. It is about time that the school’s outside appearance is transformed to better reflect the quality of the education which takes place inside. Our committee has the support of all local officials. We are working with a playground representative and are ready to make a difference in our school and community. We have the drive and commitment to make this happen. The parents, teachers and students wish to have a school that we can be proud of not just the inside but the outside as well.
