We run this… The Inaugural Citizens Bank Newport Pell Bridge Run is a 4.2 mile run across the Newport/Pell Bridge at 6:30 a.m. on November 13, 2011. The Veteran’s Day Weekend race will benefit Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, Meeting Street, Special Olympics Rhode Island and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. The race marks the first time in decades that runners will be able to cross the Newport/Pell Bridge since it’s opening in 1969.
